VOLUNTEEERING

The Oxford County Trails Council needs you!

From working on the board of directors to trail maintenance, your interest and skills are needed to support our trails.

• Chairperson - Is responsible for the oversight of the Council's activities and insuring that it is meeting its goals.

• Vice-Chairperson - Will assume responsibility in the absence of the Chair and will be Chairperson elect.

• Secretary - Is responsible for recording and distributing the meeting minutes. The secretary will work with the Chair to ensure that correspondence is complete.

• Treasurer - Is responsible for the management and accounting of all finances of the Trails Council.

• Director - Will participate in discussion and decisions in matters of policy, finances and advocacy.

Other important volunteer roles:

• Fundraising,

• Assist with trail building, trail maintenance and regular inspections,

• Assist with trail events.
